Google is handing out a Halloween treat to Web developers today by making its OpenSocial common API available
As a newbie to the monetary side of the WWW I have noticed that web rescources are imitating life. In the US the middle class is shrinking and there is a wider gap between the wealthy and the poor.
With the research I have completed, those companies that can afford the money on SEO, PPC, PTL etc are taking the lions share of search engine resources. As such, there are few at the top, the middle is shrinking and the bottom which represents those ad hoc meaningless results is growing
Engaging social content on a broader more organized scheme should allow the math guru's the reliable data they need to tweak their search engine models and hopefully generate more meaningful results
